I need to update. It has been a great few months.
Here are some pics from my underwater camera when I was in Maui in July. I'll try to upload some more pictures or updates later at work.
I thought I saw a sea turtle swim under me while I was boogie boarding at Makena's Big Beach. I had my underwater disposable with me so I stuck it underwater and pointed it in the direction I saw the turtle swim and got lucky.

While snorkeling at Ulua we swam very close to a three flippered fellow; it was the second turtle we practically rubbed shoulders within two days. We saw a huge turtle at Black Rock in Kanaapali.

Makena's Big Beach was lovely, but a rough bitch. Broke right on shore and hard. One could break a neck or your back out there and some guy even came up to me to tell me to be more careful after a wave smashed me on the sand and another smashed me before I could get steady on my feet.
